October is the month for the latest trends in designer surfaces. The Cersaie trade fair, held the last week of September, brings us the most innovative solutions from firms in the sector. At Hisbalit, we took advantage of the 39th edition of this renowned international event to offer a preview of the latest trends in mosaic tile for 2023, associated with minimalism, craftsmanship and creativity.
3 novelties in eco-friendly mosaic tile for the coming year:
-MINIMALIST ARTISANAL MOTIFS
One of the surprises we offered at the Cersaie international ceramics trade fair was PETITE, our most versatile collection to be launched in the coming year. The collection includes 10 handcrafted, minimalist designer motifs in warm and soothing colours. These small motifs can be customised and combined to suit any space. Smooth, pure forms in a hexagonal or round format that transmit a feeling of peace and connect to the natural world. This is a prét a porter collection, simple and versatile, inspired in the innovative décor trend for 2023 “Embracing Emotions”. With the PETITE collection, Hisbalit aims to create a sensation of wellbeing, comfort and security with simple, soothing and therapeutic designs.
-CREATIVE DESIGNS WITH RECTANGULAR MOSAIC TILE
Another proposal from Hisbalit for the coming year is creative designs in rectangular mosaic tile in neutral, harmonious tones evoking the natural environment. Visitors could see a sample at the Hisbalit stand at Cersaie. An 80 m2 oasis of peace and design where stylish designer surfaces take centre stage. A striking creation in rectangular mosaic tile with a dazzling visual effect. Like a true work of art, this handcrafted, ‘custom’ design was created by the Art Factory Hisbalit personalisation service. Over 70,800 tesserae, installed by hand, one by one, to create a designer surface that is unique, unrepeatable and perfectly imperfect, handcrafted with loving care and painstaking attention to detail.
-ONDULATED MOSAIC TILE WITH AN ARTISANAL AESTHETIC
The RAW Hisbalit collection is another of the surfaces in the limelight for 2023, an undulated mosaic tile with a unique interplay of curves and movement. This organic mosaic tile, inspired in artisanship and a warm minimalism has already been chosen by a number of renowned architecture and design studios for their latest projects.
