Hisbalit mosaic tiles were part of “Living Bath”, the NATUZZI space designed by Helena Rocha at Marbella Design 2022. An original “boutique bathroom”, a place to enjoy a soothing bath and also unwind in an intimate boudoir integrated into the same space.

An oasis of relaxation that makes use of organic, natural materials with an attractive interplay of light and shadows on the walls. The space received the award for Best Design and Product Innovation.

One of the most striking features of the space is the floor, designed by Helena Rocha using the Art Factory Hisbalit personalisation service.

The architect created an elegant ‘a la carte’ design using Hisbalit’s Raw mosaic tiles, a new collection with an artisanal aesthetic with 4×4 ondulated tiles inspired in traditional materials, recovering the vernacular, the natural returning to essentials.

For the first time, the collection of ondulated mosaic tiles was used to create a striking and innovative floor design.

Over 58m2 of designer floor created with the CARBON and YUTE references, inspired in natural fibres. Creating this floor in the factory involved hand installing over 33.000 tesserae.

Hand painted mural on mosaic tile

The Natuzzi space at Marbella Design 2022 included an inspiring mural in the washroom area. A bucolic landscape, hand painted by the artists at Bathco Atelier  on Hisbalit’s Stone 567 mosaic tile.

Using a combination of brush work, sponge, cloth and stencil techniques, the artists created an atmospheric and ethereal space inspired in the aesthetic of Japanese Sumi-e painting.
