BATHCO SPACE | ALFARO-MANRIQUE ATELIER

Hisbalit mosaic tiles were also the protagonist in “Fontana”, the Bathco space designed by Alfaro-Manrique Atelier, on the second floor of the Palacio de la Trinidad. A bathroom that stirs the senses, inviting visitors on a unique journey combining timeless elegance with the urban enchantment of Rome.
Inspired by the iconic Trevi Fountain and Fellini’s evocative vision of the city, this bathroom was more than just an example of interior design; a sensory experience that tells stories of cobbled streets, squares full of life and fountains that whisper secrets.

The theatrical design by Alfaro-Manrique Atelier transformed the space into a cinematic metaphor of Fellini, where the Trevi Fountain is represented by the bath, washbasins and mirrors, while the curtains evoke the dress worn by the star of La Dolce Vita, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a world of wellness and contemplation.
A CUSTOMISED FLOOR INSPIRED BY ROME

The studio created a fully customised surface using Hisbalit mosaic tiles inspired by the Italian city and its cobbled streets. The round tesserae evoke the coins tossed into the Trevi Fountain and create a unique design which recalls the flowing waters of the fountain for an added splash of elegance and style.
For this customised design, the designers turned to Art Factory Hisbalit customisation service, choosing the references Unicolor 306 and Stone 564 in round format and grey tones.
